Overview
A fishing cooperative representing several dozen multi-day boats needed compact inflatable liferafts suitable for fishing vessels to meet updated safety requirements.
Challenge
Boats are small, deck space is limited, and crews have little training. The rafts had to be light, easy to launch, and supplied with simple pictorial instructions and a maintenance plan.

Scope of supply

Outcome
Sixty boats were equipped ahead of the monsoon season. The cooperative has asked MARS to quote lifejackets and EPIRB brackets for the next phase.
