Overview
A ship-management company scheduled the renewal of liferafts across ten vessels during their dry-dock cycle and asked MARS to supply SOLAS-approved throw-overboard and davit-launched rafts with the required certificates.
Challenge
Each vessel carried a different mix of capacities and launching arrangements, and rafts had to be delivered to dry-docks in three countries with valid certificates and hydrostatic release units so they could be installed and inspected without delay.

Scope of supply

Outcome
All ten vessels completed dry-dock with new lifesaving equipment installed and certificates in order. The customer has scheduled the next renewal cycle with MARS.
