## Overview

An engineering contractor supplying electricity to a gas-field camp and processing site chose natural-gas engines to run on locally available fuel and asked MARS to supply the engine sets for their generator packages.

## Challenge

The engines had to run reliably on the site's gas quality, with electronic governing for stable frequency, and be shipped with control systems and spares to a remote location with a long overland leg.

## Outcome

The generator packages were assembled and commissioned by the contractor with remote support from MARS. A second phase for the processing site is under discussion.
